Any help identifying this would be helpful. Brand and caliber especially. These are the best pictures I’ve been able to get of all visible markings.

It's .44 caliber. Try .454 round balls. .457 might be even better - you want a slightly oversize ball which will be swaged and shaved to a perfect fit when it's rammed into the chamber.

There are .36 caliber Remingtons, but it's unlikely yours is.

Inspect bore and chambers. Pull nipples, you will find out if it was cleaned properly before it was put away.

How does pulling his own nipples tell him if the gun was cleaned.

    This place is going downhill

The various factory and importer literature will variously call for either .451 or .454 . As mentioned that that with a grain of salt , and the deciding factor is the fit of the balls into the chambers on That gun .

Mass produced Italian replica Nipples suck compared to either 19th Century originals , or current USA made quality Nipples . When in slightest doubt , replace with current USA quality Nipples .

Ultimately ASP left the C&B Replica marketplace , but they were well regarded compared to their contemporary Italian competition .
