I've been hunting for CZ Kadet 22lr upper for my P01, but haven't seen one in awhile. Anyone have any insight into when they may be in stock again? Anywhere?

There's one on GB now, 400 for openers, 3 days to go, no bids yet.

There's also a complete Kadet pistol; it's around 700, with 2 bidders. They're pretty scarce.

GunBroker has ended lately with stupid high prices on these. I'll keep looking I guess.

Back in the day when the P22 and the Mosquito were all the rage, I spent much time talking up the Kadet over those two pot metal turds. Mostly fell on def ears. I've got three Kadets. They're all very accurate. One is bullseye competition accurate.

I also suggested to CZUSA to make a version with picatinny rail for reddots, a suppressor ready barrel and tall sights.

I suspect the Grand Power 22 is a good pistol as a possible substitute.

The $400 Kadet on GB is a P07 version. Not sure what all it would work on.

2A Sales in Jessup might have one in stock. I was in there a few weeks ago looking for one for my SP-01, but they only had the P01 version. Might still be there.

I got a Kadet kit for my CZ75, and my wife wasn't happy it was the cost of an entire gun, but it has worked great, and the kids really enjoy it. If you can find one, they are definitely worth it in my opinion.

That's what I hear too. Just wish I could prove it with my very own. I have 2 custom P01s at my bedside (wife and myself). 22lr let's her practice more without it being pricey and punishing
