Hello. I have a dilemma. My HK SL8-6 is an absolute tack-driver as-is. However, I want to suppress it at times, so I would need to thread the barrel. The barrel is crowned. I assume threading the barrel will destroy the crown. Will this affect accuracy when I am shooting with just the flash hider(AAC 51T)?

    thank you for your input!

P.S. the target shit is/was a fly that landed on my target :party29:

I’ve been reading on this very topic. If properly done, threading should not affect accuracy, and should not affect the crown.

Thank you for the reference. I was going to go with Tommy Bostic, but will look into your referral. Thanks Again!
