    Hey all,

    Been in Maryland for a few years. Moved down from the Philly area. Laws down here are ridiculous.

    Trying to get into long range shooting, looking for a good starting budget rifle and range! Open to any suggestions!

    Stuck between the .308 and the 6.5CM, of course. Thinking Ruger American Predator.

    welcome. I'm also in HoCo. You might want to join a gun club to hook up with other shooters with same interest. I know Arlington Gun Club is big in Hoco (you'd think they were in VA, but they are here) and they shoot our of AGC which tops out at 200yd range. I'm not sure where you do any real long range shooting around here, maybe Ft. Meade? Or maybe private land.
