Another excellent pairing. Really nice additions to the stable.

Thanks! I really wanted to upgrade the optic I originally mounted to something more suitable for long range targets. Glass is every bit on-par and maybe just a little better than the Leupold it replaced.

I ended up selling all my Mannlicher stocked rifles recently...several CZ, a Ruger 10-22 and a Winchester Model 70...trying to cut back. And then I run across this! A Steyr Zephyr II .22LR...just had to have it. The only possible improvement I can see is if it was given a highly blued finish rather than matte...but that adds a lot of cost. It's so pretty I'm thinking of not scoping it even though I have a couple of quality rimfire scopes that would go well with it. I was thinking of getting the .22 Magnum version of it but there's no real advantage when it's just a paper punching rifle for me.

Congratulations! That is a beauty, I would say that you were left with no other choice then to purchase.

Well she’s done. AR-22 folder with the new Midwest folder Tailhook mod 1 combo. CMMG 4.5” barrel Midwest 4 inch rail, Midwest comp. Rise 3# flat trigger and a Spikes 22 bolt with CMMG collar. Vortex crossfire red dot installed and she was ready for a trip to the range. I built this for my 10 y/o so he got to have all of the fun today. I did zero at 50 yards to get him started and then he put about 250 rounds down range. Function was good other than a few empty casings that stuck in the charging handle. CMMG 22 CH is getting ordered when they come back in stock.

Boyds Pepper Rimfire Hunter for 10/22 Carbine. It's a really tight fit. I hard a hard time getting it installed. Definitely a keeper.
