One of my latest assemblies. Aero lower and select fit YHM upper receiver. Upper receiver was faced/bedded. I couldn’t believe how far off the front of the upper was. DTI middy barrel in 5.56, UTG 15” free float. This is a nice handguard. Aero BCG and a Strike Industry charging handle. Aero lower parts kit and Geissele two stage FCG. Topped off with a 1-6 illuminated Strike Eagle and MBUS front and rear. Stock is Stag with a CAA comb add on. I like that...I will probably go to the Magpul SL-S. The upper receiver and cheekrest are used. Everything else is new.

It is an HBAR so not a true multi/3-gun set up but Maryland legal on this receiver. This was the application for which I assembled this rifle. Test fire tomorrow...if life doesn’t get in the way.

Pics include slippered feet and overwatchman.

Nice build. I'm a big fan of UTG rails. I have several.
That should be a good shooter.

    Thanks. The rail is nice.
Just shot it, indoors, used a proper print at 25 yards to zero both the MBUS and scope. I used 20 rounds of pricey range ammo and managed both scope and MBUS checks at the end. Handled like a lighter carbine. It shows lots of promise.

Tuesday or Thursday I’ll take it out to a hundred. I have two other rifles to zero also. One I rescoped with a Leupold Mil Dot and another carbine I put together after this one with mbus and a Sparc II.

Well, shot it on the Delta rifle range today. Zeroed it for 50 yards, shot at 100 yards. I used three different blasting grade commercial liads. It definitely has a preference. When doing my part I was shooting pairs about 1 1/2” apart using AE M193, red, white and blue box. I removed the scope/mount assembly to confirm and fine tune MBUS adjustment. Reinstalled the scope/mount with absolute return to zero. The reticle on this scope is growing on me. I especially like the small center dot.

With a companion Colt receiver 18” SPR type rifle, that same ammo would keep them in the 1” diamond at the same distance.
