Do these BP revolvers typically shoot to point of aim? I’ve read that some of them shoot really high.

There are a bunch of individual variables that determine where your ball will hit, including "how your pistol likes the load you're shooting". That varies with the individual pistol.

It doesn’t look like anybody has caps in stock except Midway, with some German ones: RWS 1075 Plus Percussion Caps #11.

Not sure if those are good to go or not, the word “Plus” in there has me doubting.

Buffalo Arms seems to be willing to ship as little as 5 pounds of powder, which may not be a bad idea given politics lately. Stock up a bit, ya know.

I’ve never used RWS caps so can’t comment.

Not sure where you are but the following places in MD at least used to carry caps and real BP but who know nowadays. Been awhile since I l’ve bought any.

Atlantic Guns (almost positive I saw CCI caps there a week ago)

    Clydes sport shop

    HNP muzzleloading

    Brownstone trading co.

    I’m sure there are more.

Good tips, thank you - I’m in MoCo, so Atlantic is easy. I’ll swing by there soon and check what they might have.
