So they’re admitting they can’t control 1/2 billion guns in circulation, and will now try to control 9 trillion rounds of ammo ???

If politician's fail to control the guns via direct action, what better way to control the guns than by controlling the access to their ammunition. If direct assault fails, maneuver to the flanks.

Ammo shortages are true today but it won't last forever. Think about it....during today's ammo shortage while not try to pass a ban on online ammo sales since which we can't get it anyways. It's a good way to lull it through the legislature. Liberals will never let a good tragedy go to waste or an opportunity to exploit anti-second amendment agendas and infringements. After all, it's "for the children", right?

I'm glad it didn't pass, but I don't think the liberals are going to give up so easily. They'll continue with their agenda.
