My father just gave me this .22. It breaks open and is in good condition... Does anybody know anything about the this or the Hamilton Rifle Company. Sorry the photos are no the best
Google Hamilton rifles. They made low cost "boys" rifles that cost between $2-5 prior to WW2. It may be collectable. Interesting, I didn't know that the air rifle portion of the company that they sold off became Daisy air rifle co.
Before they made .22's they made BB guns, they made mostly single shots, however they made one Pump. which i have here but need a mag for. Its my buddies and we found it in his Grandfathers garage when he passed. I need a 16-17 inch Tube mag for it.
First produced in 1906 MSRP was $1.75. Most were used hard and many did not survive. Looks like 2 different barrel lengths were produced 16" brass lined and 14-7/8". Overall length 30". Standard Catalog of rifles and shotguns shows value of $100 for poor condition, up to $475 for excellent condition.
Neat little rifles. Keep it, shoot it and pass it on to the next generation of your family.
Lol. No mini mags. But I did shoot a .22 long that I happened to have in my pocket, and it actually shot fine. But then I realized I should probably figure out what it's supposed to shoot before I shoot it again. Honestly, I will probably just sit it in the safe and pass if down to one of the kids once we have them
