    I am sure there will be bills like that in many states likely including MD. The real question is how likely are they to pass.

    I don't think MD, in fact is there even a shall-issue (AKA desk drawer) bill proposed in MD this year.

    There will be some that pass, some that don't. Still a step forward.

    Not sure about this GA bill. The Governor has signed gun rights expansion bills but also vetoed campus carry. The GOP is 1 vote short of veto proof majorities in the legislature.
    So a lot depends on the Governor it appears.

    Georgia has a lot of Republicans who support carry as long as a license is involved. Remove that and they nope out.

    Beyond that, constitutional carry is very much not a priority for the lobbying organization we have, Georgiacarry.org. Their focus is on the removal of existing off limits places, and with the current political environment here the license requirement is a critical part of that.
