My unlucky cameraman was like "are you sure you don't want to tuck in your shirt?" and I was like "TRAIN LIKE YOU FIGHT". Which turned out to be true in more than one way, it seems. :lol2:

Excellent recovery and good hits. I have no critique other than you kept your composure and continued the mission. We all fall down. Not everyone gets back up and Charlie Mike.

    Good recovery.
I remember my first shoot the timer went off and I just casually walked the course and shot. Everyone asked if I knew it was a timed event. Lmao.

Question. You don't have to show clear when finished?
Next Question. Did you subsequently upgrade footwear for better traction?
That had to be a little embarrassing but, you kept going and seemed to shoot well.

    Not Erwos, but allow me.

Again, as I've said elsewhere upthread, this was from A CLASS. It's not a competition like a USPSA match at a club. It's a little mano a mano near the end of an 8 hour defensive pistol course.

At classes like this, you don't "show clear" after every string of fire, just like you wouldn't "show clear" after just shooting someone in defense of your life. You top off, holster up, and get ready for what's next.

My wife would love to have a video on me falling down my basement steps and breaking my left shoulder.

You recovered well. Hope that you shot the scenario well too.

Erwos. Thank you for sharing what most would not. You tripped, you fell, and you kept shooting. Furthermore, you shot extremely well. Well done!

At least you know your holster has good retention and you won't lose the gun if you were to fall down. :)

Truth. Earlier this year at one of the AGC Steel Challenge matches a guy was shooting his carbine on one of the movement stages and about halfway from one position to the other his pistola popped right out of it's holster.

And I've seen two people slip and fall at the same venue, stuff happens.
