    I'm heading up to Allentown for Easter and am thinking about dropping by Cabelas. I called to see what the shotgun selection is like, and the guy said it is moving so fast he has no way of knowing (??) and that I should just come by. Does anyone have a recent account (or heard one) of shopping there?

    Also, this is my first post, so hello to everyone!

    Hi and welcome! I can't answer for Cabela's but that seems to be a common issue at most stores. If it's a popular item, it doesn't stay in stock long if the price is halfway decent.

    Just to update, I did stop by there on Friday evening. They appeared to have a ton of shotguns (and rifles, etc.) on the shelves. I didn't have time to really shop since the kids spent thirty minutes looking at the aquarium (which was very cool!) and my wife was in a hurry for us to get where we were going. The shelves of ammunition seemed pretty well picked over.
