Went to a Larry Vickers pistol class at the Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen's Club and there are plenty of ranges for any shootist.

Looks like the nearest open range is in Ohio which is only about a 40 min drive from my in-laws so looks like we will be heading there.
