Hi guys. I moved to Maryland last year and haven’t had a chance to get my guns here yet. I just now realized that they have the requirement to register ar-15s and handguns within 90 days of becoming a resident, however I didn’t bring my guns down back then and still don’t even have them yet.

Since I missed the 90 day window, is that it? Can I just never legally own those guns here now? Little disappointed, and looking for someone who can help me out.

Yes they do. Since 1 October 2013.

And if the ARs were purchased after 30 September 2013, and are not HBAR, they may not be brought into the state legally.

If they are HBAR, they do not need to be registered.
