From a friend who works there:

Our birds would appreciate your old Christmas Tree! Drop off any day of the week from 8 am until sunset. Simply line the Aviary fence at Tuckahoe State Park’s office (12282 Eveland Road, Ridgely). Discarded trees will be used as windbreaks for our Scales & Tales critters and then in the spring they will be used for fish habitat and trail mulch. Thanks for your donations and help!

    They're collecting again this year.

Tuckahoe State Park is looking for your old Christmas trees to provide shelter, wind control and play for the birds of prey in their aviary. Trees can be dropped off at your convenience next to the aviary, located at 12282 Eveland Road, Ridgely, Md.
