Any good places to stop? I am looking for Circle 10 or Bulgarian non-Tapco AK 74 mags......

Or even in the general VA Beach area.....

I know about Big Dog Outfitters but won't be taking 301......

I've bought a lot of ammo on-line from The Armory and I understand that they have a nice store.

You shouldn't go thru central Va without stopping at GreenTops! And, plan on spending at least an hour there...

Off of I95 just north of Richmond.

There are a few places in Va Beach that are very friendly and there is a huge range called C2, just north of the North Carolina line. I have not been there but I hear it's incredible.

It was a nice range the last time I went. Pretty busy, too. I haven't been there in 10 years, though.

I live here in VV Beach. The-Armory is a great place to shop for firearms and good people to deal with.

If you are going to the armory, and getting 30 round mags, make sure you tell them if they ask that the mags are staying in va. They didn't want to sell them to me if I was going to take them out of state. They said they have no problem selling mags for "use" in va...

+1. There is a Bass Pro one exit north of green top. On the west side of 95. Believe Greentop is in Ashland VA

Good info. I'll have to make a few stops on my next trip south.

Great store and staff! If you order the ammo on-line the prices are lower and you can pick up in the store the next day (no shipping just VA tax).

    Last time I was there MAGPUL magazines Gen2 - $9.95 and Gen3 $12.95.
