That may work providing they are copper jacketed not cast what do you have in mind?
I recently purchased a 45/70 Magnum Research revolver to go with my Henry 45/70. I also have a 50 Caliber S&W Magnum Research revolver. I shot a bunch of cast in all of them and was not happy due to barrel leading. The casts were from a reputable dealer and they may work for some but not me. I have dies, a crucible, lube and 20 pounds of lead that I have not used yet. So based on my use of cast I will be shelving the equipment for emergencies only.
That's what the 405 gn JSP's are for.
Take a look at post 568, I have a pic there.
Did take a look and will pass .457 Winchesters. I stick with SAMMI and OEM which is .458 for the 45/70 govt.

870 CCI 200 LRP
460 CCI 400 SRP + a couple of 450 magnum
110 Federal 209 shotgun primers
About 1/2 lb opened H380, 1/2 lb Hi Skoor 800x
Unopened 4320 1lb, metal canister
450 or so Gold medal wads 12 GA, 12s3.
Interested in small pistol primers, 45 ACP brass, 38 super brass.
Other Pistol reloading gear could work as well.
Would prefer to trade everything at once.

Just finished a great trade with ToolAA. Couldn't help with his ball problem though.
