It exists; in fact, they're still around, Jimbob. "Zbrojva-blah-blah Brno" is now known as CZ ("Ceska Zbrojva-blah-blah"). Like I said, I'm old school ;)

Looks very much like my 527...........

Winchester Model 67, bolt action, single shot, .22cal rifle.
This rifle is chambered for short, long, and long rifle ammo and has a 27" sporter barrel.

My dad bought this gun for $17 when he was in junior high and used it to shoot on the high school rifle team, then later in the Navy at Bainbridge Naval Training Center.

Best I can figure, this rifle is about 70 years old and it has no serial number. It still shoots amazingly well recently dispatching a pair of raccoons in my backyard that were raiding my squirrel feeder. :party29:
CCI shorts make less noise in this gun than my Gammo .177 pellet rifle. :)

SWEET looking 67!!! The wood is gorgeous. Reminds me that I need to get my old 69A back from Mom.

I agree. The tiger stripe on that walnut looks even better in person. ;)
When my dad was in the Navy, he sanded and refinished that stock with multiple coats of hot linseed oil that were then hand rubbed for hours.
When you stand long overnight watches at the fire station, projects like this keep you occupied.

I was indeed fortunate to ask for, and receive this rifle about a year before dad passed. She is one fine handling piece of hardware that I intend to keep well protected, but still keep shooting her from time to time. :)

And this is what makes her kind of special to me. At some point, she ended up taking a holiday "across the pond." And she got a tattoo as a souvenir.....

How about a High Standard R-103 model "Sentinel"?
This is a 6" barrel. 9-shot, .22 cal revolver that was made sometime between mid 1961 and April 1965.
I have owned it since the mid 1960's.

My dad had the Super Six Reverb and a Gibson L6S. Grew up listening and not able to play a note. Dad, brother and sister got the guitar gene...

Gotta love the old amps and old guitars. I took that pic for a thread over on Arfcom, a "guitars and guns" thread in the Musicians forum. I paired guitars and amps with guns by year of manufacture: 1952 Gibson ES-295 paired with 1952 Winchester Model 70 in .270 Win., 1966 Fender Jazz Bass with 1966 Remington 870TC, etc.

Made me realize that I've simply got too much stuff :D

My favorite pic that I took was titled "An old lap steel guitar that was mass produce in the USA in the 1940s with a bunch of old guns that were mass produced in the USA in the 1940s"
