Is that worth the trip over there?

I have always wanted to take that tour

It is. But you need to go sooner rather than later. The tourism is starting to ruin the place with people moving stuff around and wandering through the buildings... In about 3-5 years it will be to late to see how it actually was originally back in the Soviet Era.

For work or just for fun?

[I'd love to go. My old man works in the nuclear industry and really wants to visit there.]

I was in Ukraine for work training some folks on some stuff. We were able to get there a few days early and went as a small group tour with some of the people we were working with. I brought my own stuff, to see what the dose rate actually was in certain areas and to identify what isotopes were still present. It is relatively safe, you just have to avoid certain areas that are still contaminated. There is no mystery with radiation. It is there or it isn’t. Science always wins over ********.

I haven't spent a dime in Baltimore City in over a year, and I feel OK about that. There's some restaurants i really like, but not enough to warrant risking my life and to finance that corrupt city.

You got that right! Baltimore is dead to us.

He just announced his girlfriend is pregnant.
At least he didn't kill the baby.
