I've been thinking about streamlining my collection a bit more and ditching my .380's. At this time if I carry it's a Ruger LCP2, which is easily concealable. But I am considering a replacement in 9mm. Is anybody with a Sig P365 pocket carrying? What are your thoughts on it either way?

I have the LCP2 and the P365. I would not want to trust my life to my ability to dig the 365 out of my pocket while dodging a methed-out guy with a commercial spatula, let alone a Bowie knife or an actual gun.

The LCP2 is truly a pocket gun, and very well suited that use, or nearly invisible IWB carry. The P365 has been a terrific IWB carry gun. But for any normal use of the word "pocket," it's not suited. For a deep outerwear jacket type pocket? Maybe.

I have a Keltec P3AT, Kahr P380, S&W .380 Shield EZ and a Sig P365. The Shield and P365 can fit in some coat pockets but they are too hard to get out of pants pockets. My P3AT and Kahr come out quickly.

I have a Glock 43 and a 43X and both don't work well for summer attire with a shirt tucked in. Even with a carry undershirt, they are awkward to wear.

I am hoping for ankle carry but the Glocks are still too big. Does anyone wear the Sig 365 in and ankle holster and it not look like a tumor?

What's a collection! Do you also have matching hot pants? :D

That collection, wasn't planned but it happened as gun technology changed.

I used to carry a .32ACP Seecamp as a hideout gun. When the P3AT came out, I upgraded for the extra power and less weight. My wife was trained in all the guns I carry, JIC so, fast forward, she started having health problems and I got the S&W .380Ez which she can rack. The Kahr was a gift and is extremely accurate but it doesn't get used much.

My primary CCW is a P365, most of the time it's in a kydex AIWB holster, but I do have a kydex pocket holster for it. It's the absolute limit of size/weight for pocket carry in cargo shorts/pants, but carries nice in my motorcycle jacket pocket(main reason for the pocket holster). In a pants pocket it conceals and draws OK, but is large/heavy enough that it clunks around and beats up your leg, definite nogo in tighter jeans pockets. Basically if I want to pocket carry, or the P365 is too large/bulky for what I am doing, I have a Kahr CW380 in a minimalist pocket holster, half the size and weight, a mere 3/4" thick it's far superior in a pocket.

I’ve tried. My 365 will work if needed in my Galco Ankle Glove holster under suit pants. It does not conceal well under my jeans, even boot cut jeans. The suit or dress pants are larger below the knee and drape over the firearm more, where jeans still tend to bunch around it. At least that’s my experience. LCP2 works very well under both in the AG holster for those times something larger isn’t appropriate.

Thanks Johnkn, it's appreciated and you saved me from buying another holster that I never use!

I stopped in Gettysburg Trading Post and they had a few Sig 365's on hand and they let me try one in the pocket. I wear Lee jeans and it fit comfortably in the pocket but I would not call it a pocket pistol. My LCP-II is definitely an easy to access pocket pistol. Truth is when I do carry the LCP I am constantly tugging the pants back up if I don't wear suspenders. I believe the Sig is only going to make it worse.

I have a very similar problem, not honestly, with an LCP, but the P365. The most common cause of that is the disease "noassatall", and that's me. My gut's not helping either, frankly...

I also have both, and the P365 CAN be a pocket gun, I have a Sticky Holster for it and use only the 10 rounder with the flush base plate, but yes, my LCP fits and draws better from a jeans pocket.

Pocket carry should be relatively easy in cargo shorts. I’d recommend thicker material shorts if printing is a concern to break up the outline. Currently I pocket carry my LCPII which is easy but also my LC9S and G43X. Best holster I’ve found so far is the Desantis Superfly without the flap piece used.

I carry a 365 daily IWB and a LCP in pocket for backup. IMHOP the 365 would not do well in pocket unless you have custom tailoring done.

Anything is pocket carry with cargo shorts

Looks like I’ll get to try it out- i fondled one until I finally pulled the trigger on a P365 purchase today. May be selling off my 43x in favor as well as it’s a significant size difference.

My holster choice for pocket carry will be the Recluse OS Solo. I’ve used these with several other models, they work uniquely well for pocket carry and offer outstanding retention, safety, and draw speed.

Congratulations! I will be buying one I'm just hesitant to "pull the trigger" If the Trading Post would have dropped the price some I probably would have bought it.
