I have a Desantis Nemesis for an LCP.
It works. The texture holds the pocket lining ok, the footprint and size keep the pistol upright. The "hook" will catch the pocket helping to clear the pocket. The shape is broken up enough to look like a wallet, if you notice.
I don't use it as much as I used to. Listening to those knowing more than I do, I tend to carry a single stack 9 in kydex iwb mostly now.

Got a few from Jbowie12 on ebay, but probably a dozen make the same pattern holsters, think alabamaholster was the original. Kydex with a big hook, stays in position, trigger covered, hides the outline, and just a quick pull and snaps right out on a draw. 20180927_092456.jpg

I was given this for my P-64. Works well if you're not wearing skinny jeans.:D

When on the job, I got a Mica holster for a S&W36 that I carried off duty. It was a great jacket pocket holster for the time. I have used Nemisis and they are ok but I think today I would go with the Sticky Holster especially if you carry a small auto. They really stay put in your pocket.

I use the DeSantis Superfly for my LCP II and it works great. It's not the first Superfly I've owned (used with a S&W Bodyguard) but I get the same good results.

I have a Desantis Superfly I have used occasionally with a P938. It does exactly what it claims to do... with the removable velcro 'fly' attached it looks like a square wallet or possibly a cellphone.

It doesn't keep it from printing, but it looks nothing at all like a handgun even if you know what you're looking for.

I tried a bunch and the Nemesis is my favorite for my LCP. A J-Frame on the other hand, seems to be happiest without a holster especially if the pocket is shaped a little pointy at the bottom.

An old cop once told me that a few carefully placed stitches in a pants pocket will hold a J-Frame just right, but I have yet to try this.

I also have the DeSantis Superfly and have tried numerous other pocket carry holsters. I don't care what kind of pants I wear, I'm a 32x32 and it looks like I got a brick in my pants if one's in the pocket. I hope I would never need to draw the firearm either. I'd have to ask the perp to wait a minute while I wrestle to get it out.

The only way I could carry in the pocket would be to go up a size in pants and wear relaxed fit. It's just never worked for me.

I carry a 43X alot and the one that works best for me is the alabama holster. i've used sticky and Desantis but I always go back to the Alabama. Got it for the G26 as well.

I just looked at the Alabama website and am going to give them a try for my Kahr P380 that I wear around the house.

I had to laugh when I used the drop down menu for firearm selection. I was selecting for a front pocket holster and they had 1911, CZ75, Ruger GP100 6 inch and M&P 40 listed.

Yeah, apologies to Conway Twitty but IMHO you're not going to like pocket carry in tight-fittin' jeans, or most other usual pants pockets either.

I'm close to your size, just a bit thicker and most of the time IWB works best for me. Pocket carry works with jackets in the winter, and with cargo shorts (front or rear, not leg pocket) in the summer if you're not doing a lot of walking around. Family bbqs, that sort of thing. It bounces around too much in the leg pocket even if you're just standing around a lot. A loose t shirt hides most of the brick shape. The rest looks like a George Costanza wallet, if its noticed at all.

On long road trips I will sometimes keep a pocket holster in the console and switch from IWB to leg pocket of cargo pants while driving, and switch back before I get out.

This Galco "J" frame horsehide model provides great retention, easy draw and doesn't print. It also stays put in the pocket.

If it is truly pocket carry... And you have a pocket weapon. Why do you have a holster????
