My company is B&P Environmental and we are located in crofton Maryland. We are a waste water specialist company. We focus on grease trap/interceptor pumping, hydrojetting, waste oil collection and processing, storm drain cleaning, etc. If there is a sewer or waste water problem, we take care of it.
I am looking to hire someone who can be my personal assistant essentially. My ideal candidate is someone who is in early to late twenties ad is looking to get into a long term career. The candidate will work hours something along the lines of 8-4, 9-5, etc. The candidate will be responsibke for running errands for the company, helping with emergency work, help keep the trucks clean, make minor repairs, etc. I want someone in the office working with me who I can delegate some of my work too. Overtime the candidate will be trained on all of our equipment and trucks. Eventually I would like to put the candidate through a training program to get his CDL.
I would like to see a candidate be able to do things like change oil in the truck, change an alternator, make extremely basic electrical repairs, and generally have an attitude for fixing things or figuring out how things work. I would like to see someone who is reliable and honest. Some basic Computer skills and customer service skills would be great.
Ultimately, I would like to find someone who can be another version of me and help me run the business. I absolutely would love to see someone who enjoys the work and would stick around to make a career out of working here. I'm proud to say that we have some great employees, and we like to pay our employees well. We are in the process of adding several new pump trucks to our feet, in addition to the service vehicles and we are certainly growing.
