This is amazing news but I wonder what effect AG Barr's new crackdown on so-called sanctuaries have on this movement?

Barr's interest is in cracking down on municipalities/states that are standing in the way of the constitutional rule of law. States saying they're going to stick to the constitution aren't going to be a problem from his point of view.

    WTF?

Why do we have to have a coalition of states band together to protect the enumerated rights that a coalition of states already banded together to protect?

We shouldn't need 8 states working together to protect the Bill of Rights. It should be self evident that the clearly defined rights codified into law are the way it is and anyone who has a problem with that can suck it!

Easily bought and paid local governments need to be shown that taking Bloomberg's evil racist money is just buying pink slips to their political careers

One more development out of the norm that (hopefully) will get us one step closer to a (hopefully favorable) SCOTUS ruling.

    Right!?

Last time I checked Maryland was among the coalition of states that agreed to protect gun rights the last time we had a coalition of states!

Now Maryland suddenly wants to back out of that?

Nope. Sorry. Maryland was the 2nd state to agree to that back in 1791.

    No take backs!

Yeah except they don’t even have it in their state constitution. MD blows.

    How 'bout Maryland. Disgust!.

And the other usual culprits. The coasts and a few others. Even the southern states mentions are slowly turning. Some faster than others, but a dem got elected in MS last time, granted that was a messed up election (the r that ran), and Georgia will be a tell this time around. Not purple YET but.

These senate races could be the only saving grace in november. I do hope the folks predicting trump on 2020 are right. It’s gonna be a squeaker nation wide. And whoever challenges him, they not gonna make hitlery’s mistake, lack of focus on some of the states like AZ MN MI PA this time.
