Some of the boys went out this morning and shot a bunch. One of them had a deer last night they carried over to the butcher shop.
Sounds like a good morning for the ones who went out.
Some things just don't get any better it seems.
Nice job! Glad you got some shooting done.

I came home with a limit of woodies today

ETA; I forgot to mention that I’ve been hunting since I was a teenager and today was my first time ever being checked by DNR. Thank God I put the plug back in my shotgun 2 days ago!

We should of had more but we tried not to shoot hens and only ones we could get to since we did not have a dog today. Still a good day and saw a ton of birds

Solid morning on woodies and a teal. Snagged a rockfish too

Caught a bunch of puppy drum too but no keepers

Lots of bald eagles and trump flags where I’m at

    Nice!
We scratched out a green wing and terrified some woodies before looking at each other in disbelief at how awful we shot this morning. The best part is how hard we were laughing at ourselves.
Saw an eagle and caught a couple of smallies before heading home.

Not mine but a neighbor tagged this beauty yesterday.

I've been checked more since Residential Goose than I have in over 30 years. Probably because of the pandemic and how many new hunters there are this year.

I got nothing this weekend. If Black Ducks were in season I could have limited out on them Friday and Saturday. Also had three dozen Canadas pitch in.

Saw a decent number of birds this morning but only a few we could shoot. Saw a shooting star which was a bonus.

Nice. I saw a few ducks this morning but not one single goose. I can count on one hand the number of times I haven't even seen a goose while out on the Potomac.
