AFAIK they are not taking website orders if anyone had that in mind. And
when I was there 2 weeks ago they were limiting primer purchases to 300
    per customer.

They have CCI in stock as well. All of them for 4 cents each which isn’t great. Beware that they limit online orders to 1 each which is probably why they still have stock. If anyone is thinking about making the drive up I would suggest calling to make sure that they aren’t limiting in store purchases too.

If anyone is headed up there let me know, I will pay “shipping” if someone is willing to pick a bunch up for me.

They must’ve just got them in. I was up there on Wednesday and they were not there. I would call them before driving up. They’re not currently shipping primers. There may be limits on how many you can purchase.

    From their Halloween sale flyer.
300 LIMIT PER TYPE ON ALL PISTOL AND RIFLE PRIMERS

Got to Shydas at 8:45 this morning for their 9:00am opening, there was already a 40-person line. Everyone headed right for the primer desk when the doors opened and they now dropped the limit to 200 of each type to each person. They tried to spread things out by having pistol primers at one desk and rifle primers on the other, that just meant that after waiting and getting your small pistol allotment, all the small rifle primers were sold out (and vice versa ). The 200 SPP and 200 MSPP I got cost me $6/100, which pretty much makes the trip officially not worthwhile. Even the jaunt over to Richland was fruitless and rude.

I feel for you. I’ve been fortunate in that every time I’ve gone up to Shydas and Richlands it’s been worth the trip. I started to freak out the last time I went up there in November after they assured me they would have the powder I needed if I got there early the following morning. Of course when I got there and looked at the shelf it wasn’t there. Luckily they had it in the warehouse below. I did stop there once with a buddy and Shydas was closed because of opening day or week (not sure which) of deer hunting season. Luckily we were in the area and didn’t make the trip just to go there. And it’s 120 miles one way for me so about 6 hours total. I try to only do it once maybe twice a year.

And yes, the people at Richlands are not very friendly to “outsiders” that’s for sure. If I had other options I wouldn’t shop there but I don’t so I do. LOL! My buddy loves to engage them in a conversation. It’s hysterical.

Next time you go to Shydas for primers be sure to bring your wife and 3 kids because, ya know, they need their primers too :)

    I tried...

Went to Molly's today, plenty of primers on the shelf and for good reason.

    $149/1K

Left them all on the shelf for a more needy reloader.. :envy:
