For anyone interested the Crosman site will let you "double up" discounts. Chip got his at a pretty good price, but if you use COMEBACK10 in the coupon box you can get another 10% off bringing it to like $350 (plus tax)
    Nice!!!!

Grr...nothing worse than shooting an entire magazine, all under a dime...just literally shooting the black center out of the target...and one crap pellet pulls out half an inch. Perfect follow through, and it just flies out there...I'm still on target and like What the Heck. Funny how half an inch, if that, really matters when these things are that consistent. First world problems. LOL. This was with CPHP, 7.9 grain from Wally World. That makes it all the better. If it digests those, it should do even better with some quality feed.

I'd chalk that up to quality (of lack there of) control on the pellets. Try weighing a bunch before shooting and keep the weight range small. While chrony testing with CPHP I usually get one or two real high or low readings. This would equate to your flyers I think.

You may know this but just in case you don't. When I was seriously shooting air rifles, I used to weight and inspect each pellet. It may seem like a lot of work, I did it while watching movies on tv, it kept the fliers way down. ;)

I'm not sure I'm ready to take that plunge. I give them a cursory glance when I load them. I do scrutinize the ones I load for squirrel hunting...but I know my eyes have no idea of the weight. I guess it all depends on the quantity of flyers I get. If they increase, that will drive me to start being more selective. If I'm just ringing the swingers, they still hit...just not in the center, so I get that instant gratification...but the off center smudge left behind lets me know it was a tad off.

Did a quick 10 rounds in the cold this morning. These have promise. I was using a bipod on my card table, so not 100 percent steady. I'm sure these will group better, but other than the one pellet that wasn't coated, these look very clean and uniform.

I like my MRod. The .25 shoot amazing with the Green Mountain barrels. The Akela look very cool. I've always wanted a bullpup. Please provide feedback. Look like it uses much of the marauder parts. Hope you like it.
