    *****I'm familiar with some of the authors above. Most people don't read much anymore, and are too busy watching football, Netflix, and regular television.

    There will always be a few parents and others familiar with what the left is doing and has done. You are correct though - we ARE losing badly as most parents just want their kids to do well in school, and are busy themselves driving little Susie, Amber, and Chadwick to soccer, swimming, and gymnastics practice plus working, etc...

    The reality is that this pattern of leftist learning has been going on since the era of John Dewey in the 19th century. Things have accelerated more recently as more and more teachers are essentially indoctrinated into this ideology and it becomes rare for any teacher to go against it lest they be admonished, fired, passed for promotion, etc...

    Even some private schools, at least here in my area have gone woke, and the parents are fine with it as long as their kids get into the college of their choice. Some of the kids end up HATING their parents, and their success, and become BLM/Antifa/Anarchists while driving a new BMW, Jeep, or Range Rover their parents bought for them, but they try and play it off as being down with the struggle and inexorable progress toward collectivism, Communism, and one-world order.

    We're basically doomed.

    After decades of attempting to dispel the notion that LGBTQ+ was identified with perversion - - which they legitimately achieved - - NOW they want to EMBRACE pornography and pedophilia as their signature cause, and force the newest generation of children, still finding their way, to embrace it too.

    You’ve seen by now that the Marxists infesting the public school systems don’t retreat or apologize for deliberately stocking their school libraries with child pornography and books romanticizing pedophilia.

    Instead they are doubling down, as usual.

    Not to be outdone, their fellow Marxists embedded in the Fairfax County public library system are joining in.

    They are now trolling County residents with “holiday book displays” mocking parents who object to public school pornography; they displayed a Bible next to their copies of “Lawn Boy” and “Gender Queer” for good measure.

    To make sure their point wasn’t missed, they used actual troll dolls; the troll holding the Bible wears an LGBTQXYZ+ hat in case you missed their point.

    *****Don't be. Some of the most arrogant, and condescending people you will ever meet are liberal "woke" government workers who think anyone that doesn't think their view of the world is the "right" way, are chastised and thought of as hillbillies, rednecks, Trump supporters, and generally back ass-wards people deserving of ridicule. They know their jobs are safe, and a half-assed apology will cover their ass and not get their supervisors/bosses in trouble.

    It has gotten to the point where people like this *know* their supervisors and everyone up the chain of their command structure mostly have the same ideology and outlook. They are entrenched, and have been for many many years. You can vote out the heads and try and change this, but the front line folks will still mostly do this kind of thing.

    The purple and pink haired weirdos with all of the piercings, and rainbow flags, and BLM/Antifa stickers on their BPA free Reverse-Osmosis filtered water bottle containers basically hate anyone that doesn't think having books like these in education for elementary school aged kids is perfectly normal... I know people like this, and they are very militant and usually pretty unhappy and angry people to boot. Plus, they look ridiculous, and more like Pirate parrots than people.

    I'm glad parents are fighting back and hope the folks promoting this sort of deviancy to little kids are shouted down and told in no uncertain terms by the overwhelming majority of people that this is NOT acceptable, because it's *their* tax dollars that are paying for these "woke" peoples salaries as well as the structures, furniture, and everything else in the buildings they work at.

    A few key firings would bring most of the rest in line. The especially militant ones are not fixable, and should probably be drummed out to work at Penguin Feather, Starbucks, and Spencer's Gifts.
