How did this thread go this far without mentioning the Hiperfire Hipertouch Eclipse? If you look at what people are using in competition, these tend to be the standard. They also run fine in PCCs, and even survive the MPX's action without a problem. Optics Planet has them for $200 with a coupon today. I know they're not cassette-style, but, geez, you don't have to be a genius to swap triggers in an AR-15. I run Hipertouches in all my competition guns.

I'm having a tough time coming up with a PCC rated trigger that isn't drop in. Course then again I've never owned a drop in trigger before. Any reason to go one over the other?

Need to sort out this double firing 16" PCC I built.

I never had a drop in trigger until I went to the RAVE. Now I have them in all of my PCC's and one .223 pistol. They are really good for rock and roll. If you are shooting carbines and rifles for precision results, I would go with a two stage like the MB-2S or others that have been mentioned.

LaRue MBT. Don’t know if it’s “rated” for it.

If you are using any of the delayed blowback systems, you don’t need to worry about the rating on the trigger.

Whatever came in the LPK I bought. Just some mil spec AR trigger

It's probably the trigger, and by that I mean, not necessarily the type of trigger.
I'd try an ALG ACT trigger if you don't mind spending that kind of money on a milspec trigger. They are as strong as a milspec but lack that gritty-grindy feel of a milspec.

    Or...

If it is a drop-in you seek, Rise Armament makes one for PCCs as well. I little pricey, comparatively speaking, but not ridiculously so.

Geissele or anything from rise. I like Geissele for a two stage but really impressed with rise as a single stage option.
