    From the article:

Sources say he was in a classroom for a demonstration of how to break down and clean his service weapon. They say an experienced state police firearms instructor was handling a gun that somehow misfired.

Why the f*ck was there live ammo even in the room?

RIP. This shit can't just keep happening. Retards have no place handling guns. I really feel it for the PA Troopers lately. Damn

Still, That is no excuse to point a loaded firearm at a student.

Only a reason to reinforce safety even more.

Like you think I don't know that?
But with a bad ass Glock, doesn't one need to pull the trigger in order to field strip it?

The Glock was an assumption. On another forum they speculated it might have been a Sig in .45 that is replacing the Glocks.

Wouldn't you point it into a clearing barrel rather than at a students chest* to do that ?

The PA Troopers just switched from .45 GAP to G22's. 45acp.

They seem to have a case of ADHD when it comes to their sidearms. From Berettas to .40 Glocks followed by .45GAP Glocks followed by .45ACP Glocks and now .45ACP Sigs  All in the course of 8 years.
