    Never been there before. Friday is suppose to be cooler temps so we decided it would be a nice drive. Anything else in that area worth seeing??

    If you get bored it's only about 40 minutes to Gettysburg.

    I doubt we will get bored. We always pack a picnic lunch and our hiking shoes when we go to these places. I also want to visit at least one Church cemetery while I'm up that way...Bair's Meeting House... where there are a number of ancestors buried. It's a good 2 hour drive from here and I'm taking mostly back roads up through Maryland into Pa.

    For the most part, we stayed within the park. I did drag Cynthia out to Bair's Meeting House to introduce her to my 6th great grandfather.
