Does PA have restrictions about where nonresidents can transport handguns like MD does? It looks like the other PA threads all deal with ccw. I'm asking about a MD resident (without ccw, but otherwise legal gun owner) properly securing his handgun(s) and ammo in his vehicle to shoot on a range in PA. Can he then legally go other places in PA that are not ranges or on his way home (like a store, or friend's house)?

I'm thinking it should be fine because PA is America and all...but I've lived in MD my whole life :o I don't know how to be free.

Again, I'm not asking about "carry," just transporting: unloaded, cased, out of reach, separate from ammo. How about on a motorcycle?

    Thanks.
