    Rendell and company got caught hiring an outside firm in 2010 to surveil/spy on tea-partiers, and 2A advocates.

    Don't laugh. Any state's Homeland Defense can easily become the secret police. Lots of authority, little to no oversight or accountability, and ripe for abuse. And a DIRECT tie-in to the three-letter agencies.
