I like and use Ballistol occasionally, but found that parts cleaned with Break Free CLP after having just been cleaned with Ballistol end up cleaner. At least, that's the conclusion I come to based on the amount of additional grime that ends up on the cleaning cloth. The reverse (cleaning with Ballistol after CLP) does not produce the same result. Not scientific by any means, but the results've been pretty consistent.
