When hog hunting, whats the advantage over an AR15/AR10?

It being new, we will see what they have done to assure an OOB detonation does not occur on any rifle when they have hundreds out there

Hmmmmmm. I think I would definitely miss the slap. It's kind of like driving a manual transmission, do you grip and hang onto that shifter and move it through the gates.... or do you slap it into where it belongs.

I see a rather over sized bolt handle, that I don't see the need for on a straight pull action.
It looks like it is longer and bigger around than those on my Savage bolt rifles.
I would think that a much smaller and shorter bolt handle would work just fine.

    My Steyr M95/30 agrees.

Looks interesting but not sure if Ill go out of my way to pick one up.
Wonder what supplies leverage to the bottom of the ball bearings to maintain battery?
Might be hard to close the bolt on a round with extra cartridge head space or have a real generous chamber.
Extra large bolt knob could be there to add mass to the bolt.
Some people will like them and that's good, a little innovation never hurts.
Could be good for European market too for those who need or want it.

Yea, I’ll stick with a Remington 7600. Can work the action just as fast, and not knock my teeth out.

Straight pull rifles been around for over a century. Don’t remember hearing of Biathletes missing teeth.
Benefit over AR, no gas system and less little parts to lose, wear out.

Having used both the Steyer M95 and Swiss K31, I say "Meh". Not new to us old folks and, as someone pointed out, unless you are spraying at hogs, who shoots that fast when hunting?

You haven’t been out on public land in awhile, have you? :lol2::sad20:
