Just posting here to see if I can help someone unload a piece of unused equipment. I’m looking for a used 6-7 cu ft cement mixer. Gas or electric.

I need it for about 6 weeks and just hoping I could find something used and cheaper than the rental cost.

Not what you are looking for but it gets high marks and is cheap.

We just bought a small Craftsman cultivator /tiller for just that reason. 6 half day rentals ($50/4hrs. + $150 deposit) covered the purhase price. Preparing the garden this year has already paid for it!!

I will say we returned the first one after the starter cord broke (wouldn't engage). Lowe's exchanged it no questions asked, but their LOWESt Customer service exchange process was a P.I.A.

    $279 for 4 cycle....$179 for two cycle.

P.S. our garden is about 20' square and hasn't been tilled for probably 4 -5 years. I was impressed at how quickly and efficiently it handled it.

P.P.S. - wife asked what the difference was between 2 and 4 cycle and is it worth $100 more..... As soon as I said 4 cycle runs straight gas (no mixing oil/gas) she had my son put the 4 cycle on the cart!!

I brought that very one but it’s capacity is 1/2 of what’s advertised at best. I need to make precisely 2.8cuft of concrete to cast in a mold. So I fugues 3-1/2 would be more than enough. It drum holds 3-1/2 when the opening is facing up. In order to mix you need the mouth tilted about 60°.

Ryobi makes a 5cuft which would get you closer. I think it goes for $300.
