So as I get older it seems like I benefit from specific task lighting. I found a specific product on Amazon and had considered purchasing this.

KMS Squared UFO LM Reloading Press Light for Lee Loadmaster.

However it wasn’t designed for the Hornady LNL and it’s $32.

Looking for other options I discovered Halo lights for cars. I’m not really sure why they are needed for cars but they come in multiple sizes from 60mm to 120mm diameter, which means you could probably find the right size for just about any press. It’s also 1/6th the price you get 2 for $12.

It does not come with a power supply but it’s 12v 300mh so just about any old 12 power supply will work.

Here it is installed on my press.

    It’s a huge difference.

Hopefully someone else finds this useful.

Accent lighting. People put them around headlights, foglights, etc.

You can find them in auto parts stores too, but they're probably cheaper online.

If you wear one under your T shirt it gives you super powers.

I'm also curious about whether it washes out and makes it harder to actually see, like the way the picture seems or whether in real life it just looks good.

If it is too bright that it causes issues, would this help? https://www.amazon.com/Low-profile-...ed+light+dimmer+inline&qid=1599786732&sr=8-33

    Thanks,
    Dale

In my photo I have it set at 12v but I found that at 10v its about 30% less bright and still provides good light without the glare. So basically you could easily add a resistor or buy a variable AC/DC adaptor or used.

The device you linked works up to 140 watts but this thing only draws 300mh so its using about 3.6 watts. I’m not sure if it would work but if it does its a good addition for sure.

    Neatly done!
I did something similar with a Dillon RL 550b. The lights are "strip neon" (LED) accents, which come with a self adhesive back. I stuck them to a thin flexible white plastic strip & used Velcro so I can change turrets.
They're also 12v so I just use a battery pack I had laying about as the power supply was messing with me digital scales.
I ran the strip lights up the back & across the top so it lights even down inside the case mouth. The light isn't glaring because its "hidden" behind the bulk of the press.
