Now check out John Browning's previous .32 blowback, the FN1899/Browning 1900.

US Armament is making a new production version now.

Still one of the slimmest and most elegant pistols around, which is amazing considering it was one of the very first semi-automatic pistol designs. You can see some of the design influences that bled over to the 1911. It's a very robust design too. John Moses Browning was a true genius :)

    I'm a little biased I admit.

    Fun fact:
the Colt Model M "Pocket Hammerless" isn't really - it just has a concealed hammer.

In my collection of 32 pocket pistols (Colt, Beretta, Mauser, Ortgies, Browning), its probably the most comfortable to shoot.

Then you may not have known about John Brown's "hammerless" 1910 .45. Read about this in an American Rifleman magazine...the museum curator and magazine guy had to figure out how to take it apart as it was the only prototype with drawings and diagrams lost. Cool piece of history!
