Bloomberg and his cast if idiots are urging Hussein to adopt a whole host of new gun control measures in this not-very-balanced article. The article is pretty much a puff piece which pretty much parrots Bloomberg's propoganda.
To be honest, I hope Obama bites on this like a rockfish on a live spot. If he does, he and his ilk are toast because a trifecta will then exists which conservatives and Libertarians can pummel them with at the polls next year and in 2010: 1) socialized medicine, 2) the Algore energy tax (a.k.a. "cap & trade"), 3) yet more gun control.
Let's see what plays out, but I don't think that Hussein will touch this with a ten-foot pole.
