Why are those disinterested asked to fund these events? Should not these events be self supporting? Why not ask for those participating to pay for the events?
No, I am not interested in paying for them.

Did you read anything in this thread? This is about an event fee increase.

This is my opinion, too. I wanted to get my 9yro good enough to shoot rimfire, but he's just not going to be up to running and gunning those big stages.

Not sure if our events are the right place for a 9 year old or not. I know there is no way my 9 year old is ready.

We are tossing around the idea of introducing a Scholastic Pistol Program for juniors. It will take a lot of adult involvement. Yes that means you, you, and you. Are you up for it?

Gauging interest in being involved; not just dropping your kid off. Any takers?

I couldn't just drop off my kid anyways. If it's a weeknight at like 5-6PM, I bet I could get him to attend regularly, and, yeah, I could help.

The more targets the better in my book! I’ve personally started to find that the steel challenge stages are getting repetitive. Also, they are more or less meaningless in the overall timing and scoring of a match with multiple stages of madness. The times on the bigger stages dominate the scores.

The best thing about steel challenge stages is that when it’s really hot, you can cover the shooting area with a pop up. I think it would be good to run an occasional straight up steel challenge match, perhaps holding one of the summer matches as all steel challenge when it’s really hot.
