Keltec question

May buy one of these for around the house. When you order one that comes with a 15 or 17 round mag, does the dealer you bought it from replace it with a 10 round mag or do they ship it and your ffl takes it out and keeps it? Thanks.

Some dealers will modify mags to only take 10 rounds. Ask them what their policy is.

I hate the sites. I think breaking in half is stupid. Just think I will like more power next to the bed at night that isn't a shotgun. Not getting it for shooting matches. They do fire when you pull the trigger.

I don't like them either, but there is something to be said for a folding PCC that takes Glock mags and you don't have to pay Glock prices.

I don't want to start a flame war but once upon a time Keltecs had reliability problems and would never be considered for self defense by i-net warriors. Keltec has some innovative designs but are they reliable? Taurus was in the same category but have gotten better so long as you don't try to use hot Buffalo Bore Bear 45LC rounds in any of the Judges. Asking for a friend. :-)

Mine goes bang every time.
I don't take it out very often but when I do it's usually with 200-300 rounds, and sometimes more than that.
I have a couple of non gun owning friends who are in love with it. They'll bring 150 rounds each and blast away for hours.
I'm not a fan of the sights either, I got a $25 Amazon green laser for it. I have to check zero it every time I take it out, sometimes it's in, sometimes it's not.

I got mine with Beretta mags, I also have an M9 and CX4. One set of mags, 3 guns

Why not go for something else like a Ruger PCC then? The folding ability would be about the only advantage to getting the Kel-Tec over any other one.

You might want to try one out before you buy. I thought I had to have one, but it was a “blah” shooter and it was built cheaply, in my opinion. I sold it and don’t miss it.

Use a PA FFL. This is mine, the M Series by MCARBO. They replaced all high wear internal (and external) plastic parts with high quality MCARBO metal parts, so no more high wear parts.
