I am by no means a craftsman. I threw this together this morning with what I had on hand. I did sandwich the insert into the hitch with aluminum plates so it doesn't worry the wood through and snap...The idea being to set my targets up in the field, and from the comfort of the jeep, have a passable rest to plink from. I'm pretty pleased with it and myself...even though I haven't used it yet....of course I didn't line the retainer pin as accurately as I had hoped, but it goes almost all the way in...enough to lock it from slipping and rocking like crazy. I will probably add some paint when it warms up and the wind isn't blowing like it is today....
