Just got this out of MD's seven day jail...Colt Anaconda in .45 Colt from the '90s.

Here it is with the 4" .45 Colt Anaconda I already had.
    45-Anacondas.jpg

I also have another 6" Anaconda in .45 Colt serving its seven day jail sentence...can't jailbreak it before next week. It might be a couple of weeks before I can pick it up as we'll be on vacation for a while and, depending on when MSP sends me the "Not Disapproved" email I may not be able to pick it up prior to our departure.

While I've never seen a firm number on how many Anacondas were built in .45 Colt, the number I see most often is something like 250 were made.

You always have the coolest stuff. I enjoy seeing it.

After going through these pictures, I am convinced that there is a space in my safe for a blued revolver

Size comparison between the Desert Eagle and the Walker. The two largest handguns that I own.

Here's the same revolver with the .45 Colt 6" and 4" Anacondas I have. Supposedly Colt only made something like 250 Anacondas in .45 Colt. I had a shot at another 4", two more 6" and an 8" barreled version but they went for too much...sigh...can't have them all! :innocent0

Here are all five Anacondas i have now...the three in .45 Colt and two in .44 Magnum (4" and 6")...

I'd bet they were all more than $450, which is what I would have paid in 1997 at Old Town Armory.

Well...the two .44 Magnums I purchased back in the '90s...the 6" new and the 4" lightly used. They were quite reasonable. The.45 Colt examples were a "bit" more than that but for some reason they're being seen on the market all of a sudden so the price of admission was less than not too long ago. The 4" .45 I paid fair market value a year ago...the 6" were some distance below market value...or the market value has simply gone down.
