I wanted something a little fun and realized I no longer had a .22 in the collection. I picked this up from a friend who bought a Ruger MKIV. This was his .22 plinker for a couple of months before he got the other one.

Now I am back with a .22 in the form of a little Ruger Wrangler. I had thought about the Heritage Rough Rider, but my Buddy offered this one to me.

I got one last year some time. I had to do some work on the hammer and trigger to get a good, crisp trigger but it was worth it. It is more accurate at 20 yards that my 70 YO eyes are. The front sight is very thin so I painted the back of it with orange paint and have no problem hitting clay pigeons on the berm with it. For the money, it is a nice little gun.

I picked up a Rough Rider for $100 years ago and it is still to this day the most fun for the buck that I own!

I love .22 SA revolvers. Great gun to teach new shooters on. Start out with .22 shorts, so there is hardly any noise. Move up to LR...little bit of noise but they're use to it now. Then on my Ruger Single Six I move them up to 22 mag. THAT has a little bite to it.
