I was replying to a post on the S&W forum regarding the model 28 and posted these photos. Thought they'd fit nicely here. This dash two dates to 1967. The patina on this gun really sets it off. Perfection is overrated.

I just got this as an impulse buy. The local gun shop had it for a price that I couldn't pass up. New in the box Rossi RP63 (RP639) stainless six shot .357 Mag.

I've heard from several on another forum that these guns are amazing. Timing, fit, finish, trigger, etc. All have been spot on. I'm on the lookout for one myself.

Supposedly have the S&W-style lockwork of the older Taurus and Rossi, not the current Taurus design.

Can't wait to hear your experience with it.

Got this recently for short money in a local auction. Colt Positive Positive .32 Police caliber...nickel plated. In pretty decent overall shape...looks to have been carried more than shot. Still nice and tight and smooth action. 1934 date of manufacture.

At the range today with this Model 1955. I'm a huge fan of 45acp revolvers, owning more of them than semi-auto pistols in that caliber. Shooting with moonclips helps with the fun. This example was born in1956.

Just got this new Colt Python 4.25" in blue. It was born on Feb. 28 so it's still fresh! Super nice...Colt is really shipping their new handguns with lots of oil on them!

Brent, that's beautiful! Vaquero with a Super hammer (or is it a Montado?). CCH is stunning. What material are the grips?

You’re right super hammer on it! Thanks for the kind words. The grips are faux ivory. Made by Boone Trading Co. it’s a real good shooter, too. 255LSWC over 10grs unique
