I have a ZT with s35VN steel that has been GREAT at holding an edge for quite some time now for everyday use. it's gotten to the point where i would like it resharpened. I dont want to do it myself, I was wondering if there are any shops around that will do it and what approx it will cost me.

    thanks in advance!

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO SHARPEN MY KERSHAW KNIFE?
The easiest and surest way to make sure your knife stays sharp is to send it back to us for free sharpening when the knife becomes dull. Just pay for shipping to and from our facility and we’ll sharpen it for free for as long as you own the knife. For more information on this service, visit our warranty section.

If you wish to sharpen your knife yourself, we can recommend the Kershaw Ultra-Tek sharpener. You can also successfully sharpen your knife on a whetstone or other specialty sharpeners.

Burrbenders is a mobile-sharpening business. Does a lot of sharpening at the Homestead Gardens in Severna Park and Davidsonville throughout the week. I see lots of positive reviews on Facebook as well.

    He has a website.

I second Burrbender's!! I go all the way from Harford County to Davidsonville to get my stuff sharpened. He's quick and does a hell of a job. Jimmie is definitely a good guy & 2A friendly, to boot.

Burr Benders is a great guy and does really good sharpening. He is at certain places at certain days of the week but I don't remember where. He also attends fishing shows.

Jimmie is usually set up at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville on Saturdays 0900-1400 and at Homestead Gardens in Severna Park on Mondays 0900-1400 or so. He also does mail-in with quick return. Check out his website or facebook page to be sure.

Plus he's a knife geek. We take our Globals there and he's always like, "nice knives".

He has also done a great job on my Fiskar hatchet.

Edgeworks is cheap and you get what you pay for. I had them do a cheap Buck for me that wasn't terribly sharp from the factory. It came back not terribly sharp from them as well. I eventually got myself setup to sharpen my own knives and it came out MUCH sharper.

Now it was only $2 but it still should have been sharper than what I got back if they are going to offer the service...

I have an edge pro for when I want a better edge than a quickie sharpen on a rod or stone, and it can give a phenomenal edge. I used the scissor attachment on hair scissors and it worked great first time- it’s a great product! ...but I enjoy knife sharpening in my spare time...
