FWIW, I use to keep a Buck 110 on my boat. It could slice through nylon rope with ease. It was always in reach when the wife and I slept out overnight. I gave that knife to my FIL when he bought the boat.

The Buck is imho too heavy to be an everyday carry, but one heck of a great knife otherwise. I've got a 50th anniversary version that usually sits in its box. I was fondling it this weekend. First time out of the box in years.

Edit: Bass Pro puts these on sale occasionally and they come in a cardboard box that is a bit nicer than the bubble wrap packaging. Handy if you are gifting it.

Did a sheath come with these knives?
I couldn’t tell by looking at the ad. Maybe it was just hard to see.
    They’re pretty good knives.
Pulled many a one through a rib cage so I didn’t get my wrist wet gutting deer with them.
Hopefully the newer ones are as good as the old. 30 some bucks is hard to beat.

I couldn't tell either. I've seen some come with a nylon (?) sheath instead of leather so that would be my guess. One of the pictures shows a leather sheath but I'm not holding my breath.

Looks like it's supposed to include a leather sheath.

Product detail on the Lowe's site states:

Convenient carry- includes a genuine high quality protective leather sheath with snap fastener and integrated belt loop allows for safe and secure carry on your belt for easy access; the 110 folding hunter is a perfect hunting companion

That was a good deal especially with the leather sheath/ case.

Couple of 110's and a 112. I had to go and do a knife check after revisiting thread. I was missing one but its probably in my hunting coat.
The 112 is probably close to 40 years old already and has led a hard life.
Clearly I'm not the best at regular maintenance :o
But never really worried about it, quality used to be or still pretty good.
