How does one do that when all the means of mass communication are censored and sealed? And how to make Joe Sixpack even care?

Serious questions. And until there is a practical, viable answer we will see NO progress.

    Sadly, you are not wrong.

I believe that people will become engaged if only they knew the facts.

Unfortunately, many people seemingly believe only facts can come from the MSM and and anything else is nothing but here say or lies.

Sadly, our constitutional republic requires an educated citizenry.

The left has seen to the destruction of that :sad20:

I've spent a considerable amount of time recently, discussing this with my kids and my son-in-law, who is AFNG.

Amazingly, they are not "brain washed." They know that Biden and Progressives are bad, they just don't like Trump, mainly because his personality is so churlish.

All three of these kids know that there is no "free lunch" and that THEY will end up paying for all the Progressive give-aways. They have a small amount of student debt and they do NOT want it to be forgiven by the Fed, for example.

My AFNG son-in-law wants to own a couple of firearms. When I explained to him the rash of state legislation that is raining down upon us, he was stunned. When I warned him of Biden's "gun czar" and the potential for an EO that would ban semi-automatic weapons he was also amazed.

I really enjoyed explaining to him that the legal penalty for selling a friggin' relic long gun person-to-person, without conducting a background check, is LARGER than simply STEALING the same gun. The look on his face was priceless.

There's hope but it's a lot of work.

    AFNG
    ???

If they voted for Biden because Trump is churlish, I don't believe they have a brain to be washed.

These are young kids in their early/mid 20's. They may have voted emotionally. This is what Progressive politicians bank on, it's how they manipulate voters.

I actually have not directly asked them how they voted because what's past, is past. Denigrating them for their past choice is a sure way to get them to just tune me out. AFNG= Air Force Nat'l Guard.

Right now, they are listening to me, not shutting me out which is important.

You want to just make fun of people or do you want to try to reach some folks and change minds?

Taking people shooting who are anti-2A is something I have done.

I wouldn't waste time on anyone who didn't vote for Trump because he is "churlish". I was never that emotional, even when in my 20s.

I applaud you for trying however, hopefully you will be successful.

I don't disagree with your statement. Thing is though, there's sadly no requirement to possess a brain to be washed, in order to still possess a vote to be cast.

Many people like Trump's matter of fact manner. They find it refreshing. Conversely, I also know of several people who could simply never find their way past what they saw as Trump's caustic personality, even though they largely tend to agree with many of his positions. I also know with certainty that at least one of these people negated my vote for Trump. More likely that all 3 did.

The biggest question going forward IMO is how to ensure election integrity. But if that piece were to somehow be assured, the second biggest question of the 2020 election is how much Trump was helped or hurt by Trump personality, as opposed to Trump policy. IMO, that elusive answer is absolutely key in 2022 and beyond.

Well, stay stuck in the echo chamber, I guess. If you want to change things, you have to venture into the lion's den and challenge people.

I find that I have good success at changing minds by *not* mentioning Trump at all. I point out the extremes that Progs are going to, to change the nation.

My son-in-law is very interested in going shooting with me. Hopefully that'll help win over my daughter.

I want Common Sense Criminal Control laws implemented NOW!

    1. Criminal steals something from someone else, he has to buy a new replacement for the item he stole, and spends 1 day in jail for every $100 dollar worth of theft.

    2. Criminal seriously injures someone by battery or assault, 100 days minimum in jail, with penalty of 1 day for every dollar in medical costs incurred by the victim.

    3. Criminal kills someone, he is executed within 60 days of sentencing.

    4. Drunk drivers who cause auto accident where no other person is injured, license revoked for life.

    5. Drunk drivers who cause auto accident and injures someone else, license revoked for life and spends 1 day in jail for every dollar in medical costs incurred by the victims.

    6. Child molesters, rapists, and child pornography possession - executed within 60 days of sentencing.

    7. Rapists get castrated with a sharp tanto knife. No chemical "castration" allowed. A woman rapist gets ovaries surgically removed.

    8. Arsonists get executed within 60 days of sentencing.

    9. Terrorists get dropped out of an airplane over the ocean from a minimum altitude of 500 feet.

    10. Kidnappers get 1 day in jail for every hour they kidnapped the victim.

This is common sense criminal control.

Since we have x number of laws on the books already, does that mean all the old laws were uncommonsense laws? If so, why shouldn't those be repealed since they make no sense.

I don't know WHY you are all complaining about common sense gun control. I practice it all the time. I use 2 hands. Don't we all?

If they're such big time "leaders in gun violence prevention", why is there so much gun violence right next door in Bloodymore? Could they be slacking?
