So basically, if you're a SC resident with a SC carry permit, you can open carry.

It also waives CC permit fees.

How much does it cost to get one in MD????

The application isn't free (and you have to pay it whether or not you get the permit), but the really expensive part is the 16 hours of make-work training. Which you also have to pay for before you can apply.

Rational MDGA legislators have repeatedly tried to pass a bill that would allow an applicant to determine eligibility BEFORE paying for training, but that gets shot down by the lefty majority every time. You know, for the children, and to prevent blood in the streets, or something.

It depends on how much it costs to open a business.

Retired? No ̶s̶o̶u̶p̶ permit for you!

I seem to remember numerous discussions about carry in MD, where gun owners were very concerned about "printing" or their guns peeking out, because the could be accused of brandishing and get in trouble.

Nice thing is, it means it's just carry. Open or concealed is ok.

So it kinda matters to me.
