I see this sanctimonious B/S is making it's way down south where normal people at least used to be.:sad20:

I feel that this would not bother me if those who preach it would practice it. But I guess we can try to give them the benefit of the doubt.

    Should read....

"Roll over and do what we tell you to do, quietly."

That is the intent in my opinion.

The people who puke this civility crap are civil only if you agree with them. Ever notice how civil people are where there are CCW? This is just another liberal feel good.

I've never been able to figure out what that means. If it means staying out of other people's shit and keeping myself to myself, I've done that (mostly) my whole life. On the other hand, if it means not getting annoyed when other people act like savages, uh-uh, I can't manage that. Being civil doesn't mean being a doormat, or a victim.

How long before all of the UMD system schools latch on too? They preach this stuff like crazy at UMBC (and most all universities I'd imagine)

Looks like it's from a book and organizations adopt the sweetness. It appears it originated from JHU. I guess number 26 is "you can't have guns".

This civility nonsense was flying around my office maybe 2 years ago. The office is in Columbia. I wonder if Howard County where this stuff started. I thought I had a much better life style slogan, but most seemed to think it was not acceptable: "Don't be a d1ck"
