Are there any good mobile or home based mechanics around Baltimore County or Carroll County, particularly the Glyndon/Reisterstown/Westminster/Hampstead areas?

If not I’d also be interested in a repair shop that does honest work. I don’t need cheap/fast, just a fair shop that does quality/honest work.

I need a brake/rotor job, inner tie rods, upper control arms, and leaf spring shackles on an older mid size pickup. Thank you for any advice.

Thanks for the advice, should I mention who referred me? Anyone else have a good mobile mechanic?

Is there anyone else you can recommend?

Not unless you want to go to Taneytown. Best front end man in the industry runs Taneytown Tire. His name is Bill Kaas.

Not "home based or mobile" as you were looking for.

I'm a retired auto mechanic by trade. I don't take recommendations lightly. Anyone I would suggest I would trust with my family's vehicles if I'm not doing the work on them myself.

I use Stirn's Garage in Windsor Mill. They are diesel specialists but work on everything. You'll see everything from huge commercial trucks to postal service trucks to high end sports cars. I've been using them for close to ten years. They fix what needs to be fixed without upselling you on stuff you do not need.

If you want, I don't get anything from it, but never hurts.

    Jim from Parker Fuel.

You guys at Parker Fuel are the best. I recommend you to everyone who needs HVAC work.
